Vintage unsigned Esha Randel by Schreiber & Hiller Art Deco emerald green and clear paste rhinestone gold tone gilt machine age necklace

Wonderful vintage Art Deco style Schreiber & Hiller necklace in gold tone with geometric design and scores of clear and emerald green rhinestones, channel set using the method patented by Schreiber and Hiller in the 1930s. One of their patent applications is shown as the final photo.

Made by Schreiber and Hiller in Germany as we now know, these pieces are beautifully and intricately engineered. The snake-like links and snake chain follow the curves of the neckline and wrist and feel comfortable to wear.

The necklace has a maximum length of 18.5 inches and can be shortened using the 1.5 inch extension chain and spring ring clasp. The necklace is in very good vintage condition - the close-up photo shows one area on the reverse on which there a tiny signs of wear and repair just to the gold tone surface.
