Vintage unsigned DRGM Schreiber & Hiller / Esha Randel Art Deco channel set paste rhinestone and abalone necklace and clip earrings set

Wonderful vintage Art Deco DRGM necklace and clip-on earrings set in silver tone with geometric design, scores of channel set rhinestones and pretty rectangles of abalone (shell). The abalone panels are stunning - the different colours and striations visible in each are very beautiful. Made by Schreiber and Hiller in Germany as we now know, these pieces are beautifully and intricately engineered. The snake-like links follow the curves of the neckline and feel comfortable to wear. The final picture shows a copy of the 1930 patent submitted by A Hiller to produce these channel set designs.

The necklace has a choker length of about 15 to 16 inches long and the earrings are each half an inch long and wide. The necklace fastens with a secure, hidden push-in box clasp and the earrings fasten with secure clips so pierced ears are not needed. The set is pictured in its original box, which it should be noted is made of cardboard and has become very shabby over the course of all these years.I am happy to send the box with the set, or to remove it from the parcel depending on the customer's preference. The set is in very good vintage condition - lovely shiny chrome / silver tone surfaces.
