Vintage Attwood and Sawyer A&S (but unsigned) clear rhinestone shiny silver tone collar necklace

Wonderful vintage necklace consisting of rhinestone embellished silver tone floral panels in an elaborate floral design. The necklace is encrusted with clear crystal rhinestones throughout, with the addition of baguette cut stones. 

The necklace is unsigned, which surprised me as this is a design used by the quality maker Attwood and Sawyer (usually signed A&S). However this one is unsigned and so this must be reflected in the price. The length is adjustable using the extension chain and spring ring clasp between about 15 and 17.5 inches.

It is in good vintage condition - a little ageing in colour in the numerous rhinestones, but hard to see. Please examine all photos carefully for a full condition report - with vintage pieces of this sort of age, there will sometimes be slight yellowing or greying of stones and small dinks, dents or spots of unevenness. I have used both natural light and photographic lighting to try to show as much as possible.

Founded in England in 1956 by Horace Attwood (Sawyer was a silent partner), Attwood & Sawyer produced copies of 18th- and 19th-century precious jewellery, many pieces for the Dallas and Dynasty TV series, and glittering diamante compositions for the Miss World competitions.
