Vintage sterling silver Jakob Bengel style Art Deco machine age brickwork mauerwerk earrings for pierced ears, 10g

Vintage Art Deco style sterling silver chunky brickwork earrings in the style of the Jakob Bengel factory in the 1930s. A beautiful example of machine age Art Deco style jewellery that borders on space age with its simple clean lines and geometric design.

The earrings are each stamped 925 for sterling silver on the back. One of the earrings has other stamps / signatures that may indicate the maker or model numbers. To me, it seems likely that they might be Mexican silver due to the design style.

They fasten with ear rods and butterfly backs. These are really beautiful pieces and weigh 10 grams for the pair, so about 5 grams each.

The earrings are in very good vintage condition though please note that the butterfly backs are not stamped for sterling silver and actually do not match each other. They are listed for sale with the presentation box as pictured.
