Vintage sterling silver gold vermeil wide criss-cross link collar necklace with chunky clasp, fully stamped 925 Italy, 42 grams

Vintage gold on sterling silver (the technique used here is called vermeil) heavy and chunky woven link collar necklace, made in Italy. There is a lot of sterling silver in this necklace as well as a layer of gold plate, it weighs 42 grams overall.

The necklace fastens with a chunky, over-sized spring ring clasp and has a length of about 18 inches. The gold vermeil is fully stamped with 925, Italy and a maker's mark which I haven't been able to identify. The necklace is in very good vintage condition.
