Vintage sterling silver gold vermeil (lightly gold plated) pretty clear crystal riviere necklace - Art Deco or possibly earlier (Edwardian or 1920s). The appearance of the gold plated silver is a very pale gold that looks silvery as well in some lights, as can been seen from the variety of photos. Lovely sized sparkling clear crystal rhinestones, bezel set in lovely open-backed sterling silver raised settings, connected by sterling silver links.

The necklace fastens with a simple hook clasp which is stamped 'STERLING". It has an adjustable length up to about 16 inches, using the hook and 2 inch length of extension chain. It is in very good vintage condition.
