Vintage sterling silver Art Deco ruby pink / amethyst purple chaton cut crystal rhinestone riviere necklace bezel set, open backed

Vintage sterling silver purple / violet crystal riviere necklace - Art Deco or possibly earlier (Edwardian or 1920s). Lovely sized sparkling pinky purple crystal rhinestones, bezel set in lovely open-backed sterling silver raised settings, connected by sterling silver double links.

The necklace has a length of up to 16 inches, and fastens with a secure spring ring clasp. The two settings on either side of the spring ring clasp are stamped - one with 'PAT 311897' and the other with sterling silver. It is in very good vintage condition. There are other examples on this site also with the sterling stamp and in different colours.
