Vintage sterling silver Art Deco diamond ice clear crystal square rhinestone riviere choker necklace and brooch set, bezel set, open backed

Vintage sterling silver clear princess cut (square) crystal paste riviere necklace and brooch set - Art Deco or possibly earlier (Edwardian or 1920s). Lovely sized sparkling clear crystal square rhinestones, bezel and claw set in lovely open-backed sterling silver raised settings. The necklace fastens with a spring ring clasp and has a length of about 18 inches. This can be worn a little shorter using the lengths of chain on either side of the clasp as extension chains.

In the necklace, the two settings on either side of the clasp are stamped - one with 'sterling silver' and the other with 'PAT 311897'. The brooch has a length of 1.75 inches and a width of just under 1 inch. The brooch is not stamped or hallmarked but has been tested as sterling silver. It fastens with a simple, antique C clasp and pin. Both pieces are in very good vintage condition.
