Vintage Sphinx turquoise glass riviere necklace, heavy, bezel set, open-backed stones in ornate silver tone setting

Fabulous vintage turquoise glass riviere necklace in a gorgeous light sky blue colour. A style used by the Sphinx jewellery company in the UK, unsigned here but clearly a Sphinx piece. This necklace has the coloured glass stones that are very like natural turquoise. These riviere necklaces can be layered in the style of Anna Wintour. There are any different types and colours of stone in pieces of this line. I thought I had seen them all, but this faux turquoise glass was a new one to me last year and now I have found another! It is very beautiful.

A heavy set piece with many large glass stones, claw set in an opened backed shiny silver tone setting with pretty ornate engraving on the reverse. Necklace length adjustable using hook fastener and extension chain - maximum 19 inches, minimum 15.5 inches. It is in very good vintage condition.
