Vintage Sphinx orange citrine / topaz glass riviere necklace and bracelet set, heavy, bezel set, open-backed stones in ornate settings

Fabulous vintage orange citrine/topaz coloured crystal riviere necklace and bracelet set in a gorgeous bright amber colour. A style used by the Sphinx jewellery company in the UK, unsigned here but clearly a Sphinx set. This set has the transparent coloured stones as opposed to the banded agate style of glass. These transparent ones catch the light beautifully and riviere necklaces can be layered in the style of Anna Wintour.

These are heavy set pieces with many large faceted glass stones, claw set in open backed gold tone settings which allow the light to shine through.

The necklace length is adjustable using the hook clasp and extension chain - the minimum is about 16 inches and the maximum is about 20 inches. The first mannequin picture shows the longest length and the second mannequin picture shows the shortest. The bracelet has a length of 8 inches and fastens with a fold-over hinged clasp.

This set is in very good vintage condition.
