Vintage signed Norwegian John Baalerud sterling silver gilt and white guilloche enamel oak leaf design choker necklace, 1960s, in box

Lovely piece of mid century modern Scandinavian Jewellery; made by John Baalerud of Norway, this necklace with oak leaf shaped panels is in sterling silver gilt with white guilloche enamel. This is a relatively rare designer and also a relatively rare oak leaf design - I see earrings more often than the necklace in this design.

It has a length of 16 inches and fastens with a lovely secure push-in box clasp that is hidden in one of the panels. The back of the clasp is stamped 925S for sterling silver and then the initials JB. The condition is good with just a couple of dents / nicks in the enamel - clearly pictured in the close-up photos of individual panels. These are quite hard to spot.
