Vintage signed Esha Randel / Schreiber & Hiller Art Deco paste rhinestone and mother of pearl gilt machine age necklace, classic and chic

Wonderful vintage Art Deco style Schreiber & Hiller necklace in silver tone with geometric design and scores of clear rhinestones as well as beautifully set diamonds of mother of pearl. The two side pieces have channel set rhinestones using the method patented by Schreiber and Hiller in the 1930s. Made by Schreiber and Hiller in Germany as we now know, these pieces are beautifully and intricately engineered. The snake-like links and snake chain follow the curves of the neckline and wrist and feel comfortable to wear.

The necklace has a maximum length of 16 inches and can be shortened using the extension chain and spring ring clasp. It uses the arrangement of rhinestones, gently graduated from the edges into the middle of each link, that is often stamped 'Esha Randel'. Here the signature is there on the reverse of the necklace. The necklace is in very good vintage condition - the gilding / gold tone is a tiny bit rubbed on the reverse of the necklace and snake chain.
