Vintage signed DRGM Schreiber & Hiller Art Deco channel set paste rhinestone geometric machine age necklace and bracelet demi-parure set
Wonderful vintage Art Deco DRGM necklace and bracelet set in silver tone with geometric design and hundreds of channel set rhinestones. Made by Schreiber and Hiller in Germany as we now know, these pieces are beautifully and intricately engineered. The snake-like links follow the curves of the neckline and wrist and feel comfortable to wear.
The necklace is about 16 inches long and bracelet length is 7 inches. Both pieces are stamped / signed DRGM (which was the German patent mark 'Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchsmuster') and the number 1138525. The final picture shows a copy of the 1930 patent submitted by A Hiller to produce these channel set designs (fig 3 shows the three sided half-hexagonal pattern used in this set).
The set is in good vintage condition - excellent chrome / silver tone surfaces, with just a little greying to the rhinestones, which is always the case with this particular design in my experience. The silver/grey appearance is very attractive.
