Vintage signed Attwood and Sawyer A&S silver tone rhodium plated and rhinestone elephant brooch, so adorable

Fabulous vintage shiny silver tone rhodium plated Attwood and Sawyer (A&S) petite elephant brooch. Lovely detailed elephant design, decorated with clear paste stones and a red rhinestone eye. It is signed / stamped A&S on its reverse. This is a harder-to-find design from this company.

Founded in England in 1956 by Horace Attwood (Sawyer was a silent partner), Attwood & Sawyer produced copies of 18th- and 19th-century precious jewellery, many pieces for the Dallas and Dynasty TV series, and glittering diamante compositions for the Miss World competitions. It is in excellent vintage condition and the pin fastens with a secure roll-over clasp.
