Vintage real cultured pearl necklace, longer length so can be worn as a double strand with the included vintage rhinestone necklace clip

Beautiful string of real cultured pearls, paired with a pretty silver tone and clear paste rhinestone necklace clip clasp with an Art Deco design. Each bead is individually hand-knotted and the quality is excellent. The beads are all the same size, each with a diameter of about 4mm. This allows the necklace to be worn as a single strand with no clasp or to be doubled up and clipped together at the back with the detachable necklace clip clasp included in this listing.

These pearls are old and I believe were cultured in sea water - they are not the freshwater pearls that are available quite cheaply from China and other Asian countries. The necklace has a longer length of about 24 inches. The clasp when attached adds another 3 inches, so it can be worn as a doubled stranded choker necklace as well. Overall, the pearl strand alone without the clasp weighs 18 grams.

The necklace is in very good vintage condition. This is a classic, staple piece also with versatility that would be a wonderful gift for anyone.
