Vintage Louis Rousselet Art Deco green Peking style glass and ornate gold tone bead necklace, Made in France beehive clasp, foxtail chain

Fantastic Louis Rousselet Art Deco glass and gold tone chunky beaded necklace. This is a classic Rousselet design with green glass round beads, separated by classic green Rousselet disc beads, gold tone spacer beads and ornate repousse gold tone beads and bead caps.

The beads have been cleverly strung on a foxtail chain, as is characteristic of Rousselet necklaces in this style. There is a little space to enable the wearer to run a cloth in between beads to keep it clean, but it is not too loosely strung. It fastens with the classic Rousselet large beehive screw clasp, which is stamped 'made in France' as shown. This necklace is in very good vintage condition.
