Vintage Louis Rousselet Art Deco green Peking style glass and carved galalith bead necklace, Made in France beehive clasp, foxtail chain

Fantastic Louis Rousselet Art Deco glass and early plastic (galalith) chunky beaded necklace. This necklace has classic Rousselet features with recognisable Rousslet green glass round beads, separated by classic green Rousselet disc beads. The beads are strung on slim, brass foxtail chain and the clasp is the classic Rousselet beehive screw clasp, stamped 'MADE IN FRANCE'.

Galalith is an early casein-based plastic, a lot like Bakelite. The four greeny brown, organic looking galalith beads are beautifully moulded.

The necklace has a length of about 16 inches and is in very good vintage condition.
