Vintage huge Butler and Wilson 1980s signed B&W electric blue and black rhinestone and darkened silver tone statement clip on earrings

Fabulous vintage Butler and Wilson signed large statement clip on earrings. These earrings are classic examples of 1980s statement style, by renowned UK makers Butler and Wilson. The bright electric blue rhinestones, couple with black is classic 80s. The large crystal rhinestones are claw / prong set in blackened silver tone settings. Each earring has a small square at the clip with a much larger square for the dangling section. The squares are hung in 'diamond' shaped orientation in sharp edged geometric style.

In 1969, Nicky Butler and Simon Wilson began selling antique jewellery from their stand in their Antiquarius Market in the King's Road, Chelsea. In 1972 they opened their first shop on the Fulham Road and began adding their own designs, inspired by the vintage pieces they sold. Many famous people wear and have worn their designs, including Princess Diana, and the brand was a top seller in Harrods for many years. Very good vintage condition.
