Vintage French Art Deco poured glass bead, gold tone and foiled wrapped multi-thread, possibly Louis Rousselet

Fantastic Art Deco poured glass beads, gold tone and foil wrapped thread chunky necklace. The poured glass beads forming the central berry decoration and the chunky screw clasp suggest that this piece was probably made in France and was perhaps by Louis Rousselet.

The multi-stranded sections around the neck are very interesting. They are threads or wires each wrapped in a silvery metallic foil. The wrapping material is quite thick, so the threads are cold to the touch and the whole piece is weighty and lovely to wear.

This necklace has a total length around the neck of about 17 inches. It is in very good vintage condition.
