Vintage Francoise Montague necklace & earrings set demi-parure, unusual gold tone cup beads with crystals, clear and brown glass fringes

Stunning 1960s designer collar necklace and matching earrings (for pierced ears) by French designer Francoise Montague. She loved to use cup or flower shaped bead caps and here has placed rows of them all around the necklace and embellished each with a central clear crystal bead. Behind these pretty floral rows are intricately woven rows of faceted glass beads in clear and topaz orange / brown aurora borealis crystal colours.
The necklace has a length of about 16 inches and fastens with an antique gold tone push-in box clasp. The earrings are about 1.5 inches long and are for pierced ears with simple gold tone ear hooks.
The set is in very good vintage condition. The two loops on either side of the clasp do not have the crystal drops attached - this may have been intentional to avoid them getting caught in the clasp or in hair, or they may be missing. There are minor signs of age which can be seen by examining all photos and close-ups carefully.
