Vintage five strand glass faux pearl necklace with ornate clear rhinestone box clasp, graduated glass pearls

Fabulous vintage glass pearl five stranded necklace with a lovely large, oval clear rhinestone ornate silver tone box clasp. The glass pearls are a lovely creamy off-white colour with a pearlescent sheen, and are graduated in size. I have tried to show pictures in different lights to give a good impression of the beautiful sheen and the variation in colours as the light changes.

An absolute classic - stylish and chic. They are high quality, heavy glass faux pearls and the necklace is in very good vintage condition. The silver tone surface on the back of the clasp is matte rather than shiny now, perhaps due to contact with the skin over the years.

The shortest strand of beads around the neck has a length of about 16 inches.
