Vintage DRGM Schreiber & Hiller (unsigned) Art Deco channel set paste clear rhinestone geometric machine age bracelet
Wonderful vintage Art Deco bracelet in silver tone with geometric, three dimensional design and scores of channel set rhinestones. Made by Schreiber and Hiller in Germany as we now know, these pieces are beautifully and intricately engineered. The snake-like links of the bracelet follow the curve of the wrist and it feels so comfortable to wear. It fastens with a secure push-in clasp hidden in the bracelet with a safety catch. The bracelet length is a slim fitting 7 1/4 inches, so please check wrist measurements carefully.
This example is not stamped in any way - pieces often have the letters DRGM and a patent number, but not in this case. The final picture shows a copy of the 1930 patent submitted by A Hiller to produce these channel set designs (fig 3 shows the three sided half-hexagonal pattern similar to that used in this bracelet). The bracelet is in very good vintage condition - excellent chrome / silver tone surfaces, with all rhinestones present and only a very minor, barely visible yellowing of the stones commensurate with age.
