Vintage bi-colour citrine yellow & sapphire blue large crystal riviere necklace and bracelet set, by Sphinx

Fabulous vintage bi-colour crystal riviere necklace and bracelet set in a familiar style, but set with more unusual and much less easy to find crystal colours and, in the necklace, the larger sized stones. This is a style used by the Sphinx jewellery company in the UK, but unsigned here as is normal for this line of pieces.

This is a heavy set with many large faceted glass stones, claw set in open backed gold tone settings. Beautiful bi-colour crystals with sapphire blue centres, blending into a citrine yellow colour around the edges of each stone. The necklace stones are graduated in size, with the largest in the front. The bracelet stones are all the same size.

The necklace length is adjustable using the hook fastener and extension chain, with a maximum of about 17.5 inches. The bracelet has a length of 8 inches and fastens with a secure hinged fold-over clasp. The set is in very good vintage condition.
