Vintage beautiful bi-colour amethyst purple and sapphire blue crystal rhinestone riviere necklace by Sphinx, rare and delicate colours

Fabulous vintage purple and blue bi-colour crystal riviere necklace in a familiar style, but set with very unusual and much less easy to find crystal colours. This is a style used by the Sphinx jewellery company in the UK, but unsigned here as is normal for this line of pieces. I love these Georgian style riviere necklaces, which can be stacked and layered in the style of Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

This is a lovely heavy necklace with many large faceted glass stones, claw set on the bezel in an open backed gold tone setting. These are beautiful bi-colour crystals with a sapphire blue centre, blending into a subtle amethyst purple colour around the edges of each stone. This is a really rare colour in this line of jewellery.

The necklace length is adjustable using the hook fastener and 3 inch extension chain, with a maximum of about 19 inches, and a minimum of about 16 inches.
