Vintage Attwood and Sawyer signed A&S 22ct gold plated, rhinestone and blue / green enamel dolphin brooch - adorable

Fabulous vintage Attwood and Sawyer 22ct gold plated, thick blue merging into green enamel and clear rhinestone encrusted dolphin brooch, signed with the A&S stamp on the reverse.

This is a popular and very collectable dolphin design - the lovely quality is apparent in the thick gold plating, good quality rhinestones (including a green stone for the eye) and thick glossy blue green enamel. The piece is small but has a good weight to it and is in very good vintage condition.

Founded in England in 1956 by Horace Attwood (Sawyer was a silent partner), Attwood & Sawyer produced copies of 18th- and 19th-century precious jewellery, many pieces for the Dallas and Dynasty TV series, and glittering diamante compositions for the Miss World competitions.
