Vintage Attwood and Sawyer abstract swirl brooch, 22ct gold plated, red and green enamel and clear rhinestones, signed A&S

Vintage swirling abstract design brooch by quality makers Attwood and Sawyer. This is a gorgeous romantic design with thick 22 carat gold plate, bright red and green enamel and clear pave set rhinestones. This is a beautiful and unusual example of the designs of these highly collectable brooches.

This piece is signed A&S on the reverse of the brooch. It has a length of 1 3/4 inches and also a width of 1 3/4 inches. It is in very good vintage condition with all rhinestones present and bright.

Founded in England in 1956 by Horace Attwood (Sawyer was a silent partner), Attwood & Sawyer produced copies of 18th- and 19th-century precious jewellery, many pieces for the Dallas and Dynasty TV series, and glittering diamante compositions for the Miss World competitions.
