Vintage Attwood and Sawyer (A&S) 22ct gold plated clear rhinestone lovers' knot brooch

Fabulous vintage Attwood and Sawyer 22 carat gold plated and clear rhinestone encrusted reef knot brooch, signed with the A&S stamp on the reverse.

This is a popular and very collectable design - the lovely quality is apparent in the thick gold plating and good quality rhinestones. The piece is small (about 2 inches long) but has a good weight to it. it is in very good vintage condition.

Founded in England in 1956 by Horace Attwood (Sawyer was a silent partner), Attwood & Sawyer produced copies of 18th- and 19th-century precious jewellery, many pieces for the Dallas and Dynasty TV series, and glittering diamante compositions for the Miss World competitions.
