Vintage Art Deco Schreiber and Hiller channel set clear rhinestone choker necklace, unsigned, slim fitting

Wonderful vintage Art Deco wide choker set in silver tone with geometric design and numerous channel set clear rhinestones. This is a patented Art Deco design, originally by the German Schreiber and Hiller company. The final picture shows a copy of the 1930 patent submitted by A Hiller to produce this type of channel set design. However this piece is not signed - later makers like Butler and Wilson used this technique in the 1980s, but this one seems original Art Deco.

These pieces are beautifully and intricately engineered. The snake-like links follow the curves of the neck and feel comfortable to wear. The necklace has is a very short choker length of about 15 inches, so please check neck measurements carefully. It sits beautifully around the neck as you can see in the pictures. It fastens with a hidden push-in box clasp.
