Vintage Art Deco sapphire blue and clear paste crystal rhinestone and silver tone necklace

Delicate vintage Art Deco necklace with the most beautiful and intricate geometric and also floral 1930s design. There so many rhinestones in this piece, including rows and rows of sapphire blue baguette cut stones, clear baguette cut stones and clear chaton cut stones in many sizes.

This piece is not stamped or signed. It does have a distinctive tassel design dangle at the end of the extension chain, but I am struggling to place this with a particular designer or maker as I have not seen it often before. Features of the necklace remind me of Eisenberg pieces, but one of those would have been signed.

Its length around the neck is adjustable between about 16 and 18inches and it fastens with a simple hook clasp and rhinestoned extension chain. It comes in an old jeweller's presentation box, as pictured, which is a little musty but will protect this delicate piece as it is sent and can be disposed of if the buyer prefers to do so.

The necklace is in very good vintage condition - the silver tone is lovely and shiny and the rhinestones are all in place - hundreds of them! There is minor yellowing to the clear rhinestones which is very hard to see.
