Vintage Art Deco machine age repousse bow clasp triple strand thick gold tone snake chain necklace

Vintage triple stranded flat snake chain necklace in yellow gold tone with a fabulous moulded gold tone bow clasp. The centre of the bow lifts up and the two ends can unhook - it is a secure, hinged clip that clicks down firmly.

This necklace is very Art Deco in style with machine age components, so I have dated it to the 1930s, but this is just my estimate. The repousse texture on the bow clasp is very Victorian in design. The shortest strand has a length around the neck of about 16 inches. The necklace is in very good vintage condition.
