Vintage Art Deco light sapphire blue paste riviere necklace with crystal drop, bezel set open backed stones set in silver tone

Delicate vintage Art Deco riviere necklace with stunning light sapphire, almost aqua blue crystal stones claw and bezel set in silver tone. The rhinestones are set in open-backed settings to allow the light to penetrate.

The necklace has equal sized stones around its length in riviere style. At the front, there is a gorgeous, pendant drop centrepiece with a kite shaped open backed rhinestone at the end. There are two short lengths of silver tone chain at the back on either side of the clasp.

Its length around the neck is about 19 inches and it fastens with a secure spring ring clasp. The necklace is in very good vintage condition - the crystals and silver tone are in lovely condition. I have noticed that one side of the necklace has 18 blue crystals and the other has an extra one with 19 crystals, so there is a slight unevenness in numbers which is hard to notice. I could very easily remove the extra rhinestone so that there are 18 on each side - let me know if this is something you would like.
