Vintage Art Deco green jade gemstone round bead and clear glass OR rock crystal faceted bead necklace, beehive clasp, wired beads

Fantastic vintage, Art Deco wired beaded chunky necklace with green gemstone round beads alternating with clear, faceted glass or rock crystal beads. The beads are gently graduated in size with the largest at the front.

The green beads look like they are some sort of gemstone and, despite not being a gemologist or gemstone expert, for me they have more characteristics of jadeite or nephrite than aventurine. I have seen antique Burmese jade beads that look exactly the same. The clear, faceted beads are either glass or rock crystal. Again, apologies that I cannot give a guarantee for either. 

The beads have been strung individual silver tone wired sections. The necklace has a length of about 17 inches and fastens with a gold tone beehive screw clasp. This type of clasp was used often in jewellery made in France by the Louis Rousselet brand. However, this piece is not a Rousselet piece, I am fairly confident. These clasps were also used in Czech and other pieces.

This necklace is in very good vintage condition.
