Vintage Art Deco faceted sapphire blue glass bead and rhinestone Czech necklace with beautiful gold tone and enamel painted floral features

Vintage Art Deco cornflower blue glass bead, rhinestone and gold tone necklace. Lovely piece with chunky glass beads and rhinestones in lovely sapphire blue.

In four places are lovely floral pieces and these are hand painted with cream and blue enamel and decorated with tiny blue rhinestones claw set in each flower's centre. When you look closely, you can see that a blue glass bead is inside each of this floral panels as well.
 
To me, this feels like a Czech piece from the Gablonz area, it is clear when you handle the necklace that it is a quality piece.

The necklace is about 16 inches in length and fastens with a secure spring ring clasp. It is in good vintage condition - the gold tone has become antiqued in appearance over the year and there is a little wear in places, as shown in the many pictures. The spring ring clasp has a shinier finish than the rest of the necklace so has perhaps been replaced or simply made of a material that tarnishes less than the rest.
