Vintage Art Deco collet set paste and silver tone, bud & leaf design necklace with sunflower centre and bracelet demi-parure, 1920s - 1930s

Vintage Art Deco 1920s to 1930s paste and silver tone riviere necklace and bracelet set. The set has a beautiful bud and leaf design that was common at the time - however paste sets like this are not so common as the beautiful cut crystal / lead glass stones often do not survive the decades. These pieces are in very good vintage condition, with all stones present.

The necklace is a particularly beautiful example with a central floral pendant section with a large and beautiful crystal in the middle and then more rhinestones in the petals. To me, it feels like a sunflower. Both pieces have the same pretty design of silver tone circle settings alternating with pairs of leaf shaped settings, each set with a clear rhinestone. In both pieces, the pairs of leaves reverse their orientation halfway along creating a nice symmetry.

The bracelet is quite slim fitting at 7.5 inches long, fastening with a secure spring ring clasp. The necklace has a length of 17 inches and also fastens with a secure spring ring clasp. The bracelet is also in good vintage condition - there is a little more rubbing to the silver tone on the reverse of the bracelet. It must have been worn a little more often perhaps, but the rubbing is not visible when worn.
