Vintage Art Deco clear paste silver tone riviere necklace with crystal screw back earrings, collet set open backed, classic demi-parure

Delicate vintage Art Deco riviere necklace and screw back crystal earrings set. The necklace has stunning, large clear crystal graduated stones collet set on the bezel in silver tone. The rhinestones are set in open-backed settings to allow the light to penetrate. The earrings have the same setting for their large central stones, though with covered backs. Each central stone is surrounded by smaller crystal rhinestones in a floral arrangement. The necklace has stones that are gently graduated in size around its length in riviere style.

There are two short lengths of silver tone extension chain at the back so that the length can be adjusted between about 15 and 17 inches. The set is in very good vintage condition - the crystals are in lovely condition. This is a lovely example of an earlier Art Deco or Edwardian riviere necklace with earrings, with crystal stones of a lovely large size.
