Vintage Art Deco chunky clear crystal faceted bead and carved black glass melon / pumpkin bead necklace, heavy poured glass, longer length

Stunning vintage Art Deco unusual chunky glass bead necklace with carved pumpkin beads in black and hexagonal prism shaped clear glass beads. These are potentially very valuable poured glass beads similar to those favoured by Parisian designers like Chanel, Louis Rousselet or the House of Gripoix. It's a really heavy piece.

The necklace has a length of about 24 inches and fastens with a gold tone screw barrel clasp. It is in very good vintage condition, with the only quirk being one of then small spacer beads being different from all the rest. All but one of them are cut steel faceted beads, however one of those next to the clasp is an iridescent dark purple glass bead. I don't know if this was an intentional signature of the designer or a replacement bead!
