Vintage Art Deco 1930s Czech amethyst purple glass, open-backed paste rhinestone brooch pin in antique gold tone

Stunning Czech rhinestone Art Deco brooch with a large amethyst purple central circular rhinestone and smaller purple chaton cut rhinestones claw / prong set in gold tone. Characteristic Czech construction and fixings for the period, fastening with a pin and old style C clasp.

The beautiful crystal rhinestones have been claw set in open-backed settings so that the light streams through. The brooch has a diameter of just over 1 1/4 inches. It is in good vintage condition - please examine all the pictures carefully. There is some minor scratching on the large central rhinestone.
