Vintage Art Deco 1920s / 1930s amber gemstone cabochon and gold tone bracelet, stamped AMR

Vintage / antique Art Deco real amber cabochon and gold tone bracelet. This is an unusual bracelet - I haven't seen real amber in this style of cocktail bracelet from the 1930s before. The cabochons are gorgeous and they are bezel set with open backs in a pale gold tone metal. 

The yellow metal is not hallmarked in any way but has the initials AMR stamped on the back of one of the links. I don't believe it is gold or even gold plated silver. It may be a gold plated or gilded base metal or it may just be something like pinchbeck. I don't know who the initials AMR refer to but will keep researching.

The bracelet has quite a generous length of about 8 1/4 inches and fastens with a secure spring ring clasp. The clasp could be attached further up the bracelet to shorten it if needed.
