Vintage / antique sterling silver and turquoise duette (a brooch that can be converted to a brooch and 2 dress clips) and drop earrings set

Beautiful vintage / antique sterling silver and real turquoise duette brooch and earrings - they have been kept as a set and go together well, despite being from different places and times. The duette brooch has turquoise cabochons and sparkling marcasite stones, set in unmarked sterling silver, which has been tested to confirm it is solid silver. The design is very Arts and Crafts and reminds me of makers like Dorrie Nossiter or Bernard Instone, but the piece is not stamped or signed. The duette converts into two dress clips and a brooch when the two clips are unclipped from the brooch frame. The colour of the turquoise cabochons is fabulous. The pretty brooch frame could be worn separately as a beautifully shaped brooch with two turquoise cabochons without the clips attached, so this is a 3 in 1 metamorphic piece of jewellery.

The earrings are wonderful - heavy and beautifully made. As mentioned before they are probably not by the same maker or from exactly the same time period as the duette, but have been kept together and do make a lovely set. The earrings have a length of just over 1.5 inches and are stamped 925 for sterling silver on the backs. To me, it seems they may be Navajo made - from the indigenous people of North America, as the style, manufacture and quality match. The pieces are in very good vintage condition.
