Vintage / antique lapis lazuli blue bead gemstone necklace with unmarked sterling silver belcher chain sections, 48 grams

Vintage or perhaps more likely antique sterling silver and blue lapis lazuli gemstone beaded necklace.

These are beautiful antique beads - the beaded section is 14 inches in length which would be a very small choker length. So there are two sections of heavy, sterling silver belcher chain, making the necklace a longer length of 22 inches. It fastens with a very old-style sterling silver spring ring clasp. This could be fastened at any point along the opposing side's chain, making the length adjustable from the 22 inch maximum down to about 18 inches.

The silver chain sections and clasp are not stamped or hallmarked but have been acid tested which confirmed they were solid sterling silver. The lack of stamps is what leads me to think the necklace is quite old. The lapis beads are individually hand-knotted onto matching blue silk. It is in very good vintage condition and weighs 48 grams overall.
