Unusual antique 'pools of light' STYLE choker necklace with undrilled GLASS orbs in ornate, but rustic silver tone settings with subtle gilt

Really unusual antique 'pools of light' STYLE glass orb and rustic silver tone choker necklace. These large glass orbs are undrilled so the pool of light effect is maximised. Each orb is set in an ornate silver tone gilt setting that encloses the orb securely. The settings have pretty engraving. Text is rotated 180 degrees when viewed through an orb as I've attempted to show in picture five.

Please note that this is more of a rustic, artisanal version of this type of necklace - the orbs are not rock crystal as they usually are, they are glass, and the metal is not sterling silver. The condition is also a little rustic, there is a little rust I have tried to clean away, mostly successfully. The silver soldering is visible at the joining points of the chain, and the joins can get stuck and need to be gently eased to straighten the necklace out without breaking or bending a join.

The necklace has a length of about 18 inches, but sits as more of a choker as the orbs are so large and chunky. It fastens with an antique watch guard chain type dog chain clasp which was often seen in Victorian jewellery. Please send me a message if you have any questions or would like further photographs.
