Rare vintage Trifari key brooch (unsigned), 1949 patent of an Alfred Philippe design

Large vintage Trifari brooch in the form of an ornate key embellished with sapphire blue and clear rhinestones with accents of black enamel. These are extremely collectable pieces.

This one is not signed or stamped, but is a patented Alfred Philippe Trifari design from 1949. A picture of the patent application is included in the listing photos: designer Alfred Philippe, filed April 15, granted September 13 1949.

The brooch has a length of about 2 3/4 inches and a width of about 1 inch. It is in good vintage condition - please examine the pictures carefully for a full condition report.
