Possibly early Askew London, vintage cherub cupid floral brooch in antique silver tone

Vintage cupid cherub putti and lovebird design ornate brooch in antique silver tone. The design is gorgeous and whimsical with two cherubs on either side with rose flower embellishments and silver tone filigree behind.

This brooch is unsigned but I believe it might be an early piece by Askew of London - I love this style which seems to me very much influenced by Joseff of Hollywood. Early pieces sold in the Askew London boutique off Oxford Street in London were not signed.

The brooch measures about 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches and fastens with a pin and secure roll-over clasp. It is in very good vintage condition.
