Vintage Art Deco glass pearl cabochon and gold tone filigree brooch. This piece certainly has Czech origins, and I have seen similar designs attributed to Max and Norbert Neiger - some refer to a cone and cornet line of designs, that this piece could fit into. The pierced metal oval back to the brooch perhaps is more in line with components used by Miriam Haskell, however, so do feel free to message me if you have an opinion on the maker.

It is so delicate and beautifully designed and produced with one huge, oval faux pearl cabochon in the centre. The two layers of cornets or horn shaped filigree settings coming out from the centre are each filled with a white glass faux pearl. This is a fabulous piece of collectable jewellery, measuring just over 2 inches long by just over 1.5 inches wide. It fastens with a simple, old C hook clasp and pin.

It is in very good vintage condition for its age. The faux pearls sitting in the cone shapes have a rough, baroque texture and could have been touched up perhaps. The central cabochon has minor and very tiny scrapes and scratches but is in much better condition than most similar faux pearls of this age.
