Large vintage Art Deco gorgeous vibrant amethyst purple crystal Czech flower bouquet brooch, open-backed rhinestones in gold tone

Delicate vintage Art Deco brooch with stunning amethyst purple coloured crystal rhinestones claw set in gold tone. The rhinestones are set in open-backed settings to allow the light to penetrate. The colour is absolutely gorgeous and seems to glow in the light, giving slightly different shades in different lights and on different backgrounds.

The floral bouquet design is beautiful and three-dimensional with layers of the rhinestone flowers. It is signed on the reverse with 'Czech' on a small oval plaque, indicating that is was made in the former Czechoslovakia, no doubt in the Bohemian region of Geblonz.

The brooch has a length of about 2 3/4 inches and a width of about 1 3/4 inches. It has a pin and roll-over safety clasp and is in very good vintage condition - the crystals are fabulous.
