Very large Czech rhinestone Art Deco brooch with remarkable amethyst purple large oval cut rhinestones claw / prong set in antique silver tone. Characteristic Czech construction and fixings for the period, fastening with a pin and trombone clasp.

The beautiful crystal rhinestones have been claw set in open-backed settings so that the light streams through. This is a particularly large example of this type of brooch in such a striking colour.

The brooch measures about 2 1/4 inches by 2 inches and is in very good vintage condition.
