Huge vintage Max Neiger style Art Deco topaz orange glass rhinestone Czech brooch in antique gold tone filigree

Vintage Art Deco citrine or topaz orange rhinestone gold tone filigree brooch. This piece certainly has Czech origins, and I have seen similar designs attributed to Max and Norbert Neiger. The quality of the design and settings is lovely and the overall shape and size make this a striking statement piece. It is beautifully designed and produced. The antique gold tone filigree base is embellished with chaton cut orange rhinestones, including a very large one in the centre.

Its longer dimension across is 2 3/4 inches, with the shorter dimension across at 2.5 inches. It fastens with a simple C claps and pin. This is a lovely piece of collectable jewellery in very good vintage condition - note that the gold tone in these pieces is never shiny, but much more antiqued.
