Fabulous vintage gold tone and claw / prong set multi-coloured and bi-colour rhinestone encrusted collar necklace, 1950s cleopatra style

Glamorous vintage rhinestone collar necklace with a lovely mid-century style rhinestone design including different shapes, sizes and colours of paste rhinestones set in gold tone. There are bi-colour purple and yellow 'amytrine' crystal rhinestones as well as sapphire blue, amethyst purple, pink and clear glass rhinestones

There are multiple good quality claw / prong set crystal rhinestones in gold tone settings in a lovely Cleopatra collar design. The stones reflect the light in different ways as they move, as can be seen in the pictures. They are very beautiful.

The necklace is made with an unusual construction - the rhinestones are set on a chunky foxtail chain. There is a stamp of the number 53 on the back of one of the panels, but I have yet to identify the company or brand.

This necklace has good quality components and manufacture and has an adjustable length around the neck between 15.5 and 18 inches, fastening with a spring ring clasp and  2.5 inch length of extension chain.
