Vintage sterling silver Art Deco machine age style beaded choker necklace, stamped 925 - weighs 39 grams

Gorgeous vintage sterling silver beaded choker necklace with lovely machine age Art Deco design shaped beads strung on slim sterling silver chain. The streamlined beads are in the style of 1930s pieces from the Jakob Bengel factory in Germany. It is stamped for sterling silver but not for a country of origin or a designer/maker. If I had to guess I would say it may have been crafted by silversmiths in Mexico, but I don't have provenance or a true date of manufacture at the moment.

This is a quality piece weighing a total of 39 grams. The necklace has a length of 16 inches and fastens with a decorative 'S' shaped hook clasp. The reverse of the clasp is stamped 925 for sterling silver.

The necklace is in very good vintage condition.
