Beautiful Vintage Chinese engraved gold plated and blue turquoise inset hinged Mandarin bangle

Vintage Chinese export Mandarin hinged bangle, with gorgeous blue turquoise panels inset into the gold plated body of the bangle. This a beautiful example, with lovely engraving to the gold plate and pretty, slightly scalloped edges around the turquoise pieces.

It fastens with a secure push-in clasp hidden in the end of the bangle. It is quite slim fitting with an internal diameter of about 2 1/4 inches so do please check your wrist measurement carefully. Some listings of similar bangles maintain they are solid silver under the gold plating, but there are no marks or stamps to confirm this, so I doubt this would be the case.

The bangle is in good vintage condition - the turquoise in lovely condition. The only flaw is that I think there may have been a safety chain originally, but if so it has been removed along with the loops it would have been attached to. However, the push-in clasp seems very secure.
